Donnacha is a European Patent Attorney, an Irish patent and trade mark Attorney and a Community Design Attorney with more than 20 years’ experience in private practice. Most recently this has been as a named partner in the firm he is a founding partner of, a firm that has “rapidly risen to the upper echelons of patent prosecution practice” because of the “dynamic, agile and innovative team” Donnacha helped build. He was also the IT and cyber security lead of that firm, as an ICTTF Certified Cyber Risk Officer. In addition to his business roles, Donnacha was President of Irish Association of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys during 2018-2021.

Donnacha now brings his love of challenging the status quo, his experience of growing a successful IP firm, and his IT and cyber security expertise to Two IP.
